Coming to us from Old Mexico, this formerly wild tomato is Will’s very favorite tomato for making tomato sauces. Each tomato on the hugely productive vine is perfect and meaty for a small plum-sized fruit. It makes canning a breeze as we just pull off the stem and toss them into our tomato strainer and grind away, watching the sauce come pouring out. MMmmmm. These are a very hardy red tomato that laughs at heat and drought.
